I’ve been listening to the Bradford Players’ recordings of their Masks of Nyarlathotep play sessions reading my own copy of the campaign as I go along. It was interesting timing as Chaosium had announced the sale of their licensor copies of the Masks of Nyarlathotep Companion. I figured if I could snag one of these limited copies, I would buy it.
I saw a preview PDF a few years ago and was intrigued by the content. We’re talking about 700+ page of supplemental material for the campaign itself! The book does have the feel of a print-on-demand copy; the paper isn’t quite as nice and the cover is quite . . . shiny.
Once piece that I had wished would appear was a full 7e conversion of this 5th/6th ed campaign. Alas, that is not in this tome.
The material inside is what matters I guess and it does seem promising. Perhaps this would be my next foray into Call of Cthulhu once my World War Cthulhu campaign wraps up one day.
